Countdown to Race...

Welcome to the website of the Irish Duathlon Championships 2006.

Registration for both races will close at 1pm on Wednesday the 31st of May.

There will be two races.

Race 1 will be the Irish National Championships 2006. It will consist of a 10km run/40mkm cycle/5km run. This race will count for a maximum of 150pts towards a ranking in the Irish Duathlon League.
Race starts at 8am on the 4th of June

Race 2 will be a super-sprint duathlon for all you beginners who would like to give duathlon a go. It will consist of a 2.8km run/7.5km cycle/2.8km run. This race will not count for Irish Duathlon league points. All types or bikes welcome, from mountain bikes to tandems (helmets must be worn)..so why not give it a go.
Race starts at 11am on the 4th of June

The course starts on Chesterfield Road, the main road in the Phoenix Park. If you are driving to the race please park either in the Papal Cross car park or on Chesterfield Avenue between the city gate and the Phoenix Monument (keeping off the grass).
