FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How is the race timed?
We will be using electronic timing chips which strap around you ankle and are standard in all Irish triathlons. During the race each competitor will run/cycle over timing mats which pick up the signal (and beep!) clocking your split times. Failure to cross the mats will upset the timing. We will also be taking a manual timing count for finish times.
Can a relay team compete?
Yes. A relay team consists of 2 people; 1 to complete both runs ad 1 to complete the cycle. Please tick the relevant box on the entry form if you are entering as a relay team.
